Aight, so today I did some things. Thought about doing some things. Actually should have done some things. But I probably actually did nothing. Because I figured that I would eventually do some things, and then it would be aight. So I am currently living in Hsinchu, Taiwan; believe it or not, the majority of people here are actually Asian. So naturally, most of the people here don't have English as their first language and therefore may be disinclined to roam within the realm of American society to a more comprehensive extent. Most of the people that I know in Taiwan enjoy the pop culture of America of music and movies; however, to my knowledge they don't particularly find an interest in American books or older music. I generally listen to music all the time unless I am talking to someone. I rarely listen to pop music; I prefer older music from before the 2000s era. I don't listen so much to the lyrics but to the melodies within. I just think that the older music is more melodically appealing than pop music nowadays. So if you haven't experienced them at all, I strongly encourage you to give it a shot, maybe you'll turn out to like it. As always, have a nice day and enjoy your summer.

Aight so one day, you know the one I'm talking about? Its the one with the walking.. yea. So I'm walking down the street and then there's that person, I think he was Asian, not quite sure. Its been a while. Okay, so I'm walking down the street and I see a guy who may or may not be Asian, and he's doing his thing. You know what I mean? So I'm just minding my own business and he is minding his own business, then a car goes by. It was yellow, I think; a guy was driving it for sure. And I'm walking and I see a 7-11. Now if you don't know already, 7-11 has a lot of things, you know what I mean? Like pencils, food, drinks, miscellaneous items, you know what I'm saying? There's this side street on my way home from school; it has an apartment complex, a restaurant, and a house. So I'm walking home and I'm thinking something for sure, I think. There's like so many things to think about, you know what I mean? Like, saying, "You know what I mean?" is really annoying and generally inserted when the person actually doesn't know what you mean, you know what I mean?

Today was okay. It was alright. Could have been better, could have been worse. There are a lot of 7-11 stores in Taiwan, and in these stores lie a bunch of things. In particular, they have ice cream. Now if you have never had ice cream before, I feel sorry for you, but then again probably not; it really depends on who you are. Ice cream is a frozen desert that usually has flavors to it instead of simply ice, cream, and sugar. At 7-11 stores there are a variety of ice cream bars and today, I bought a Hershey ice cream bar. Hershey is a chocolate making company so I was surprised that there was an ice cream for this brand. During my time in America I had plenty of opportunities to eat Hershey chocolate, and of course I seized them. So naturally, I had high hopes for this ice cream. If it was anything indicative of its counterpart, I would be in for a real treat. To sum it all up, the ice cream was... interesting, not necessarily good, but interesting.

For today, I'll tell a story. (transition music) Once upon a time in a far away land, there lay the Wachatta Islands just off the coast of Nevada. It was like a dreamland, where everything was all nice and simple. There was nothing terribly bad and nothing terribly good, everything simply was. The water ran down the mountains and through the towns; the animals grazed on the fields to the side. The people walked around the town saying, "Sir, are you okay?" , "Yes, I have been drinking... water of course." I mean... don't get me wrong, there was crime and violence everywhere like any good city. But what was important, was the peace and serenity within each their hearts, and all was good, and all was well. Now normally, there would be some conflict around this part of the story, but you know what? Everything was good and everything was well in their eyes, and that's all that really matters. Is what we see truly correct? We may perceive it and we may believe it, but is our perceived reality truly what we believe it to be? A place that is similar in the fundamental aspects of a society to ours can achieve peace, why not the other place of Wanayeaya?

So this whole blogging stuff is fairly new to me. I generally never speak about myself in blogs. The limited blog usage that I have engaged in is strictly for assignments and homework. So I guess I should start off with an introduction. Hello, my name is Joseph Wei. I sleep a lot, usually I don't even know I was sleeping until I wake up, but sleep is nice as always. So its currently in the summer time and I am investing essentially all of my time into SAT, Wordly Wise, and gaming. In my eyes, SAT and Wordly Wise related things are really boring and the only times that they come up in my day to day conversations are generally of a less than merry mood. But if SAT and Wordly Wise are your life, your soul, and your dream, I am totally okay with that; in fact, I strongly encourage you to stick around. Oh, and another thing that you should note about me is that I'm really random or seemingly random to a stupid random extreme; therefore, as a rule of thumb, if you don't understand what I'm saying its because its really stupid or you aren't meant to understand. I hope you are enjoying your summer to your liking and I will try to keep up with this blog once a week. :)
